549 metres of lace or sport weight yarn. Requirements will vary with different yarns or if you work a different number of repeats
4.5mm 40cm circular knitting needle or needle size required to obtain a loose attractive lace fabric
1 stitch marker; 1 safety pin; 4mm crochet hook and 1 metre of contrasting colour waste yarn.
Beads: (optional) For the size shown you will need 37 beads for 1 bead per edging scallop or 109 beads for 3 beads per edging scallop and a crochet hook small enough to fit through bead hole.
