Heart Strings Lead or Follow Lace Scarf Pattern Ref: HS/A52/PT The fluid design of this scarf is a wonderful study in the behavior of lace knitting when yarn overs are placed in various positions relative to the compensating decrease. 460 metres (500yds) laceweight or 4ply on 3.75mm knitting needles finished size blocked - 30cm x 172cmThis product is currently unavailable
Heartstrings Triangles within Triangles Shawl Pattern Ref: HS/A63/PT A simple, yet sophisticated, triangular shawl that starts with just a few stitches at the center neckline, and increases in pattern. Since the knitting is stockinette stitch-based, this design uses a rate of increase that is slightly more than the typical "every other row" rate so that the resulting shape retains a pleasing width-to-length ratio. The lacy and solid triangle motifs are set within the larger shawl triangle panels. A coordinating edging is used to bind off, as well as create a pretty triangle-shaped finish to the outer edge of the shawl. For a 92 deep by 182cm wide shawl in 4ply yarn, plan for approximately 1100m at 18 sts/10cm over pattern on 4.5 mm knitting needles - easily adjusts to other sizes by knitting to length desired, and other weights of yarn with corresponding adjustment in needle size and yarn quantity. This product is currently unavailable
